Together with the local fishing community of Peniche, OCT is developing its first blue circular economy model under the Peniche Ocean Watch Initiative in Peniche, Portugal.

OCT works with entrepreneurs and has already spun off several initiatives and startups, including Peladrone, Ekbacken Studios AB, Ocean Community Challenge, and Circular Ocean (under incorporation).

OCT provides consulting services in areas such as grant applications and naval architecture in addition to public speaking and organizing events on topics such as the circular economy, innovation, and ocean and digital technologies.

OCT is active in research and education through its collaboration with institutions, such as Chalmers University of Technology and RISE - Research Institutes of Sweden in Sweden and SingularityU Portugal, Smart Ocean and Polytécnico de Leiria in Portugal.
